Championships grants
Championships grants of up to 10,000 are available to eligible organisers of competitions, championships and sporting events that bring more than 100 competitors and supporters to Tasmania, who stay for three nights or more and promote pre- and post-championship travel within the state as part of their event marketing.
- Eligibility
- Host a competition, championship, or sporting event between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027.
- Attract more than 100 people from outside Tasmania.
- Stay three nights or more in paid commercial accommodation (hotel, motel, B&B, cabin).
- Promote pre- and post-championship travel as part of their event marketing.
- Apply at least four weeks prior to the event start date
