Tasmanian Tourism Awards

This year will see a move to E-Awards, and a change in the process of entering the Tasmanian Tourism Awards.

Entrants will now nominate for the awards and submit their entry online. This will greatly enhance the efficiency of the process, as well as increase the security of submissions.

Key Dates:

• Nominations Close - Friday 9th July
• Entrant Workshops - July
• Submissions Close - Friday 27th August
• Judging - September
• Gala Presentation Dinner - Friday 12th November

How to enter the Awards:

1. Review the 'Rules of Entry' and 'Category Descriptors'
2. Follow the link to the eAwards portal below
3. Create a user account
4. Nominate and pay your entry fee
5. Attend an entrant workshop
6. Upload your entry submission

Nominations

Nominations for the 2010 Tasmanian Tourism Awards open on Monday April 19. Prospective entrants should review the rules of entry and category descriptors then follow the link to the eAwards portal to nominate and pay the entry fee. Submissions will not be accepted on August 27th if you have not nominated and paid the entry fee by July 9. Please note should you decide not to go ahead and enter a submission your entry fee will be refunded (less an administration fee). However, if you do not advise us of your intention to withdraw before August 27, you will forfeit your entire entry fee.

Entry Deadline

Submissions, including images and attachments, must be received by 5pm Friday 27 August. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Entry Fees

Accredited Businesses - $90

Registered and Non-accredited businesses - $150

Gala Awards Presentation Dinner

A list of finalist in each category will be released in early October. Winners will be announced at a presentation evening
