Advice

Events Tasmania's Event Development Program offers a range of opportunities for organisations and individuals to develop new skills, new ideas and new approaches to existing events.

As well as providing masterclasses, forums and scholarships, Events Tasmania offers event development assistance though one-on-one consultation with you or your team.

Whether you are a commercial producer of events, a local council or a volunteer group, we urge you to contact us to discuss your event.

Our team can provide your event with guidance and/or specific skills-building in the areas of risk management, marketing, planning, communications, governance, business planning, creative expansion, product development and many other issues unique to events.

There is an enormous amount of event management advice available on the internet but pinpointing quality resources can be difficult.

To make things easier to find Events Tasmania supported the establishment of the Online Resource Library of the Australian Centre for Event Management on the UTS website.

Our Event Development Program coach Kim Skildum-Reid hosts Power Sponsorship, which is filled with current knowledge about sponsorship and marketing.

Here are a few links to get you started on your exploration of these two great resource hubs.
